This stealthy new Gigabyte PC case power be extra sneaky with an unlicenced design
A twitc from the Gigabyte Aorus Jacques Anatole Francois Thibault Twitter account has revealed 3D renders of the companionship's new project stealth cause. IT's a nice matt black looking offering where the cabling is all orientated to the back of the motherboard. The idea is it will greatly ameliorate cable direction and also air flow, aside not having a mess of cables future out the forepart suspension all over your components.
But this International Relations and Security Network't where the stealth ends for this motherboard. GinjFo (spotted by Hot Hardware) has posted what look like legit product shots of an actual instance. It shows how the wires would be contained besides as the orientation of the parts inside. It's a nice unstained, stealthy looking build.
OH my, dear readers, but information technology could get even sneakier. Accordant to Hot Computer hardware, this case is suspiciously similar to a patent held by Maingear since back in 2011. The evident designs and explanation reveal a real interchangeable case design. While the extent to which this case borrows concepts from the Maingear apparent cannot be confirmed, Maingear CEO, Wallace Santos appears to agree there are some similarities.
"Patc I'm not happy to see Gigabyte productized something supported happening my patent without proper licensing, especially since we reviewed our hot design approach with them directly geezerhood ago, I'm more concerned with making sure we continue to rent the industry forward with this current intention innovation and its obvious advantages," Santos told Hot Hardware.
"Our motherboard and case with invisible connectors design offers far arch cable routing and management, with better airflow crossways the front of the motherboard area. We would love to see the industriousness dumbfound on board with the design, soh all PC OEMs can benefit, as well as DIY enthusiast PC builders."
Santos straight-grained revealed that he had even pitched the design to Gigabyte, along with several other companies endorse in the day. Despite interest from the companies, receivable to the nice clean design, the overall disruption just in case designing wasn't desirable at the time. Now, cases are in every sorts of cool and crazy configurations, so IT does add up that a company was much willing to adapt. Though if it is an unlicensed innovation, mayhap that's not quite the best way to go about IT.
